We are a travel and learn collective that designs small-group expeditions around the living knowledge of a place. Instead of simply visiting destinations, we learn directly from local communities, artisans, culture, place, craft and people through immersive, hands-on experiences. Every expedition is thoughtfully curated to help you understand a place more deeply, connect meaningfully with the people who call it home, and return with a fresh perspective on both the world and yourself.

Not in the traditional package-tour sense. We curate experiences around learning + immersion + reflection, with strong facilitation and local collaborators. The focus is on craft, culture, community, and inner clarity, not rushing between "top 10 attractions."

No. Some expeditions may include reflective or expressive arts practices, but TEC is not a clinical program and doesn't make medical promises.

People who:

  • want slow, meaningful travel
  • are curious and open to learning-by-doing (not just lectures)
  • community, not crowds
  • want a reset that brings clarity and momentum back into life
  • want to learn and create on-ground, not just consume destinations

If someone wants a luxury resort + checklist itinerary, TEC may feel "too involved" (and that's okay).

If someone wants:

  • a luxury resort + buffet holiday vibe
  • a checklist itinerary with packed sightseeing
  • nightlife-first travel

They may not enjoy TEC's pace and intention.

Usually:

  1. Fill the form in the dedicated expeditions page.
  2. We confirm availability + fit (quick call/message if needed)
  3. Pay a deposit to secure your seat

For some expeditions, yes. It's not about exclusivity; it's about keeping the group energy aligned so the experience stays safe and intimate.

10-14 people per expedition. Intimate by choice. This helps with:

  • individual attention
  • smoother logistics
  • Building real bonds
  • better learning outcomes

This depends on the expedition, but generally includes:

  • curated itinerary and on-ground coordination
  • mentor/facilitator sessions
  • workshops/materials (as mentioned in the expedition details)
  • local hosts/experience partners
  • group design + support

Typically:

  • flights / travel to the destination
  • personal expenses and shopping
  • travel insurance
  • anything not explicitly listed as included

More than 7 days before the expedition

If you cancel your participation more than 7 days before the expedition start date:

  • The booking amount (50% of the expedition fee) is non-refundable.
  • Any amount paid beyond the booking amount will be refunded.
  • No TEC Credit will be issued.

Within 7 days of the expedition

If you cancel your participation within 7 days of the expedition start date:

  • No monetary refund will be provided.
  • All payments made towards the expedition will be non-refundable.

Often yes, with conditions and a deadline (so we can ensure fit + logistics).

If we cancel, you'll get:

  • a full refund of what you paid to TEC, or
  • the option to shift your seat to a future expedition

(Flights are usually not covered since they're booked independently.)

Cash / UPI / Bank transfer.
